A one-day Sustainability Workshop delivered by Richard Reed and Sara Wilkinson from Deakin University, will be attended by the Federal Government’s Department of Parliamentary Services staff on the 4 March in Canberra.  This workshop will cover topics including Developing the Business Case, Life Cycle Costing and Facility Management of Sustainable Commercial Buildings, and derives its content from the Your Building website and has previously been conducted in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

 

A two-day Relationship Management workshop delivered by Graham Scott from ORG Consulting, will be attended by Queensland Department of Public Works staff on 12-13 March in Brisbane.  This workshop covers the concepts of relationship management, human behaviour, the risks and opportunities in relationship-based contracts and better managing relationships for successful projects.  This is the third such workshop conducted for QDPW, where the content is based on the research findings of one of the CRC's early successful projects Value in Project Delivery Systems: Facilitating a Change in Culture. 

These workshops represent practical examples of our CRC's commitment to deliver research into practice - improving industry practices to benefit our community.
