Project description |
The project will further develop the software tools created in previous case-based reasoning in construction and infrastructure for lifetime prediction of metallic components projects, to widen their applicability and usefulness.
The metal faade application will be extended to include up to ten components. Maintenance costs will be used as a guideline in choosing the components that are most expensive from a life cycle perspective, either because they need replacing frequently, or have a high cost of replacement. In addition, maintenance records and methods will be determined to incorporate the ongoing input of this information into the programs maintenance database, ensuring output data is based on current conditions.
