Long description: arbourThe image shows a section of the arbour with a group of people walking beneath it. The arbour is constructed of a series of approximately 10 metre high steel archways linked by steel cables. The structure rests over an approximately 7 metre wide pebblecrete path, allowing room for pedestrians travelling in either direction. Leafy bougainvillea plants grow over the archways and along the cables, providing patches of shade. The cables begin approximately halfway up the archways, leaving room for pedestrians to access the arbour walk from numerous entry points.
