Project description

This project seeks to develop a software prototype that will provide early warning signals to predict the performance of construction firms. By using existing financial and non-financial data, this software will develop a series of measures that can be leveraged in order to promote business health in the construction industry.

A system that highlights early indicators of potential business distress will enable government authorities charged with the responsibility of monitoring business activity in the construction industry to interact with these firms to ensuremutually satisfactory outcomes. Positive outcomes will have a flow-on effect in terms of safeguarding the business health of construction firms, and the rest of the industry associated with that firm.
