SpecNotesis a computer software tool that allows the user to enter non-CAD information into the building project databases used by other tools in Construction Innovation software suite (including DesignCheck and LCADesign).

 

As a user comes across an item that needs to be stored whilst working on a project, they will select the appropriate system and choose from a range of selections. For example, the user may select a 90mm quad plasterboard cornice and vinyl skirtings as default finishes. On completion of a CAD session, SpecNotes will review the building model and add the selected cornices and skirtings to all rooms which do not already have these as objects in the database. SpecNotesthenauto-generate a first cut specification for that project.
