Soon Kam Lim receives research award
 
 
Soon Kam Lim
 
Queensland University of Technology has awarded Soon Kam Lim, a CRC for Construction Innovation PhD scholar, the 2008 Higher Degree Research Student Award (Faculty of Built Environment & Engineering) for research into sustainable construction.
 
Associate Professor Jay Yang (School of Urban Development) nominated Soon Kam for his thesis project Framework and Processes of Enhancing Sustainability Deliverables in Infrastructure Projects, due for completion this year. This research is expected to develop integrated decision-making guidelines for the implementation of sustainability strategies aimed to enhance sustainability deliverables during infrastructure project delivery processes.
 
Jay Yang accepted the award on behalf of Soon Kam who was in New Zealand presenting a paper at the 3rd International Conference on Sustainability Engineering and Science.
 
Soon Kam receives $2500 and a certificate acknowledging his efforts. Construction Innovation congratulates Soon Kam for his achievement.
